The prices of the 2025 Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 T and Z8 L will be announced soon in India as the brand intends to appeal to a wider band of customers
Mahindra & Mahindra will soon announce the launch prices of the expanded Scorpio N lineup with two major additions: the all-new Z8 T variant and an upgraded Z8 L trim now equipped with Level 2 ADAS features. The Z8 T trim slots between the existing Z8 and Z8 L grades and it is available with ventilated front seats and a 6-way powered driver’s seat.
Other highlights are EPB with auto hold in AT, a front camera and front parking sensors. It also upgrades the cabin with a 12-speaker Sony audio system, frameless auto-dimming IRVM and a 65W Type-C fast charger for rear occupants. From the outside, larger R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels distinguish the Z8 T.
In addition, it gets all the features from Z8 including electronic brake diff lock and dual-zone AC. Mechanically, it stays in familiar territory, as it will be available in both petrol and diesel configurations across manual and automatic transmissions. The recently teased Z8 L trim now takes a substantial leap with the addition of a 12-function Level 2 ADAS suite.

The main highlights are Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking (for vehicles and pedestrians), Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and Driver Drowsiness Detection among others. This makes the Scorpio N one of the few body-on-frame SUVs in the country to be equipped with such advanced driver assistance features.
Alongside the feature upgrades, Mahindra has also revised the Scorpio N’s drivetrain matrix across all trims. From the leaked images, it is clear that the Z8 T will be available with diesel 4WD in both manual and automatic formats – giving it the widest mechanical spread in the line. Meanwhile, the Z8 L can now be optioned in petrol AT and diesel 2WD/4WD AT setups.

The Carbon Editions for both Z8 T and Z8 L retain all drivetrain options seen on their standard counterparts while the entry and mid-level trims like Z2, Z4, and Z6 are limited to fewer combinations with no 4WD or automatic in the lowest variants. The latest updates intends to keep the Scorpio N more competitive and technologically on par with rivals in the midsize SUV segment.
