Prof. Sriparna Basu, Dean (Academics), extended a heartfelt welcome to the incoming batch and set the tone for the day with an inspiring address. She emphasized that in today’s fast-changing world, a Management graduate finds its true meaning when rooted in ethics, commitment, and empathy. Beyond business models and strategies, it is about leading with conscience, staying curious, connecting with purpose, and creating impact that lasts. She urged the students to let their integrity be their strength and their values the foundation of meaningful leadership. This was followed by the Welcome Address by Prof. Subir Verma, Director, FORE School of Management, who also administered the Induction Oath to the students.
Prof. Subir Verma said, “At FSM, we continually innovate and renew our commitment to delivering high-quality education. We want our students to feel confident that they made the right choice. With tie-ups like the one with Harvard Business, we are preparing our students to thrive as hybrid professionals—strong in domain knowledge, commercially savvy, emotionally intelligent, and ready to navigate AI-driven workplaces. Management is a social science, and through our pedagogy, we aim to help students build not just careers, but meaningful futures.”

These values will not just shape your journey at FSM, but define the leader you become.”
