Here we have brought you a rundown of the possible upcoming Hyundai and Kia cars across different segments over the next 12-18 months in India
The South Korean automotive giants, Hyundai and Kia, are expected to strengthen their domestic portfolio with a host of new launches over the next year and a half. Here we have explained about the possible upcoming offerings:
1. Kia Carens Clavis EV:

India’s first midsize electric MPV will break cover on July 15 and it will draw power from the same battery configurations seen in the Hyundai Creta Electric. Official range figures are yet to be confirmed but expectations point toward a certified range of over 460 km on a single charge. Visually and inside the cabin, the upcoming zero-emission version will retain most of the design and layout of the ICE Clavis albeit with a few subtle tweaks.
2. New-Gen Hyundai Venue:

The second generation Hyundai Venue will be launched in India this festive season and it has already been caught testing multiple times on Indian soil. It will get a revamped front fascia and a revised rear end with newly designed alloy wheels. We can expect new colours to be offered as well while the interior will get a slew of upgrades. Mechanically, it will remain the same as the outgoing model.
3. New-Gen Kia Seltos:

The second generation Kia Seltos has been spied testing in India as well as abroad. Expected to make its world premiere early next year, it could be introduced in India in the due course of 2026. A hybrid powertrain could join the lineup in the distant future.
4. Hyundai Inster Based EV:
Hyundai is currently working on expanding its product lineup in India, with a notable focus on electric mobility. Among the forthcoming models, an electric SUV based on the global Inster is said to arrive sometime in 2026 and it could take on Tata Punch EV. The brand is also believed to be evaluating a battery-powered version of the Venue as well as an all-electric iteration of the Grand i10 Nios.
5. Kia Syros EV:

Based on the well received Syros, the upcoming compact electric SUV could compete with the likes of Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Nexon EV upon likely arrival next year. It could borrow electric drivetrain from the Clavis EV but no concrete information is known yet.
