In the annals of English cricket, he has put himself in the bracket of the legendary all-rounders Ian Botham and Andrew Flintoff through outstanding all-round performances across formats.
Talking about Test cricket, Ben Stokes made his Test debut in the 2013 Ashes in Adelaide. While he got himself involved in multiple controversies, Stokes’ value continued to shoot up as an indispensable part of the England team.
In 2022, he became the England Test captain and, along with coach Brendon McCullum, changed the landscape of English Test cricket with the Bazball brand of batting.
Let us look at the five highest scores in Test cricket made by Ben Stokes.

Eventually, with some luck on his side, including a couple of fumbles by Australia, Stokes sealed one of the most famous run chases in Test cricket’s history and etched his name into the historic Ashes.
Stokes and Leach made a 10th-wicket stand of 76* (62), of which Stokes scored 74* and Leach scored 1*. Few innings in the Ashes history are recalled with the sense of awe as this one at Headingley, Leeds, by Ben Stokes.
