Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra and Renault are all set to introduce new midsize SUVs within the next three months in India
The hotly contested midsize SUV segment will witness plenty of new launches over the next year or so. For those who cannot wait, here we have listed the four models that are confirmed to launch within the next three months from top brands like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, M&M and Renault.
1. Mahindra XEV 9S:
The Mahindra XEV 9S will take centre stage on November 27 at the brand’s ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru. It will be Mahindra’s first ground-up born-electric 7-seater SUV built entirely on the INGLO skateboard platform. The teaser so far has showed a full-width LED light bar, Twin Peaks logo and strong proportions that signal a proper flagship.

The SUV is expected to offer over 500 km of range, bidirectional charging, and a premium cabin with triple screens, panoramic sunroof and Level 2 ADAS features. It is based on XUV.e8 concept.
2. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara:

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be the company’s first electric SUV and a key part of its global EV strategy. Built on Suzuki’s dedicated electric architecture co-developed with Toyota, it will come with two battery pack options with the top-spec version expected to deliver more than 500 km of range. The five-seater caters to both Indian and international markets and it will be introduced in December.
3. New Gen Renault Duster:

The Renault Duster nameplate will re-enter the Indian market with a completely new design and platform. Based on the CMF-B architecture, the new generation SUV will boast better proportions, improved cabin space and new powertrains – possibly including turbo petrol option now with a hybrid system later. It will also feature a packed interior with a large infotainment display, connected features and advanced safety tech.
4. New Tata Sierra:

The Tata Sierra will mark the return of one of India’s most iconic SUV names when it launches on November 25. Positioned between the Curvv and Harrier in Tata’s lineup, it will be offered with both electric and internal combustion engine options. The ICE version will use Tata’s 1.5-litre turbo petrol motor producing around 168 PS and 280 Nm while the EV is expected to deliver a range of over 500 km. The IC-engined Sierra will arrive first with the electric version set for early 2026.
