Mahindra is expected to bring in as many as 4 new SUVs over the course of this calendar year in India across different segments
Mahindra has kicked off the new year with the introduction of two new models – XUV 7XO and XUV 3XO EV. Only a few months ago, the brand launched the XEV 9S and as part of consolidating its domestic portfolio, more new SUVs are waiting in the pipeline through 2026 and here we have explained them:
1. New Mahindra Thar 3-Door:
The Mahindra Thar Roxx has attained popularity in a short span of time since its market arrival and it appears that its similar design cues will be implemented onto the three-door model judging by the recent spotting of test prototypes. It will continue to use same mechanical bits but new equipment and technologies are expected inside the cabin.
2. Mahindra BE 6 Rall-E:
A more rugged and off-road based version of the BE 6 known as BE 6 Rall-E has also been doing the rounds in speculation for some time now and is expected to be underpinned by Mahindra’s dedicated INGLO skateboard platform. While it is likely to share several components with the standard BE 6 including its battery options, the tougher iteration could set itself apart with a more upright, adventure-oriented design, increased ground clearance and potentially larger wheels upon launch this year.

3. Updated Mahindra Scorpio N:
Spotted undergoing road tests, the updated Scorpio N appears ready to receive mild exterior tweaks while the more meaningful updates are expected to be made inside the cabin. Mahindra will more likely focus on enhancing the interior ambience with revised upholstery, refreshed surface finishes and improved material quality.
Alongside these changes, the facelift could introduce a more premium set of features to strengthen its positioning in the midsize segment where it is already a top seller. Mechanically, no changes are speculated as the familiar 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines are expected to be carried over unchanged.

4. Mahindra Vision S Based Compact SUV:
The Vision S was one of the four concept showcased by Mahindra in August 2025 alongside debuting a brand new NU_IQ monocoque platform. It will give rise to a more compact iteration of the Scorpio N before the closure of 2026 or in early 2027 and it could share engine and transmission options with the XUV 3XO.
