2026 Tata Punch Facelift gets exterior and interior enhancements while the powertrain options will remain the same
Ahead of its official launch on 13 January, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift has already started making its way to dealerships. Tata Motors has confirmed that the updated Punch will be offered in six variants while bookings are expected to open shortly followed by customer deliveries in the weeks after launch.
The updated micro SUV will be available in six exterior colour options – Cyantafic, Caramel, Bengal Rouge, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds and Pristine White. As for variants, Tata has significantly expanded the standard equipment list. The entry-level Smart variant will come with six airbags as standard along with LED headlamps, electronic stability program, Eco and City drive modes and remote keyless entry.
Other highlights are iTPMS and a newly designed ‘corporate’ steering wheel. Under the bonnet, the 2026 Punch facelift will continue to be offered with both naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions of the 1.2-litre petrol engine. The existing five-speed manual and AMT gearboxes will stay put too while the turbo petrol variant will more likely be paired with a six-speed manual transmission. A CNG trim will also be available.

Further details on performance and variant-wise powertrain availability are expected closer to launch. Stepping up to the Pure variant will bring added features such as rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, a rear defogger and a day-and-night inside rear-view mirror. The Pure+ trim will build on this with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a reverse parking camera.
It will also gain cruise control, a Type-C fast charging port and a height-adjustable driver seat. The Adventure variant marks an apparent jump in technology. Its equipment list will include a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot monitoring, push-button start, rear wiper and washer, automatic climate control, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.

It will run on 15-inch styled steel wheels. Higher up the range, the Accomplished variant will introduce 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control and seats with extended thigh support. Sitting at the top, the Accomplished+ trim adds a voice-assisted electric sunroof, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming IRVM and Tata’s iRA connected car technology.
On the outside, the 2026 Tata Punch features redesigned headlamps and sleeker tail lamps, new set of blacked finished alloy wheels, revised front and rear bumpers, new LED Daytime Running Lights, new grille section and a new LED light bar at the back as the overall styling takes plenty of inspiration from its electric sibling.
