Vineet Kumar Singh reveals he visits Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat whenever he feels low: 'Mannat sirf ek ghar nahi hai, Mannat hum jaison ki himmat hai'

Vineet Kumar Singh, who recently portrayed Kavi Kalash in Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, has shared his deep admiration for Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic residence, Mannat. According to the actor, Mannat is not just a house but a beacon of hope and courage for countless dreamers who come to Mumbai to make their mark in the industry.
In a conversation with Just Too Filmy, Vineet said, “Mannat sirf ek ghar nahi hai, Mannat hum jaison ki himmat hai. Mannat ek aisa pata hai jo batata hai ki iss shahar mein aapka ek makaan ho sakta hai. Mannat is baat ka pramaan hai jo unn bachchon ko, un sapne dekhne wali aankhon ko, ek haunsla deta hai ki sapne ka haath mazbuti se pakadke rakhna. Ye shahar jaadui shahar hai. Na jaane kab, kaha, kaise kaun mil jaaye aur aapki gaadi chal pade. Aur is shahar mein aapka bhi 2 kamra ho.”
(Translation: Mannat isn’t just a house, Mannat is courage for people like us. Mannat is a place that tells you that you can have a home in this city. Mannat is proof that gives dreamers the courage to hold on tightly to their dreams. It’s a magical city. You never know when, where, or how someone will come along and your ride will begin. And in this city, even you can have a two-room house.)
The Mukkabaaz actor further revealed that whenever he feels low, he visits Mannat, sits outside, sips tea, and draws inspiration from the sight of Shah Rukh Khan’s home. “Ye makaan nahi, ye himmat hai. Toh jaake bas aise feel karta hu aur fir chup chaap bas chala aata hu ek hausle ka tukda leke.” (This isn’t just a house, it’s courage. I just sit there, feel it, and then quietly leave with a piece of hope in my heart.)

Vineet Kumar Singh’s Insight on OTT vs Box Office Clash

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and his family are preparing to temporarily relocate from Mannat to a luxury apartment in Pali Hill, Bandra, due to extensive renovation and expansion work on their Grade III heritage home. Acquired in 2001, Mannat has become synonymous with the Bollywood superstar’s success, with Gauri Khan meticulously designing its interiors. Last year, she obtained permission from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) to add two more floors to the Mannat annexe, a project expected to take nearly two years.

During this period, the Khans will reside in four floors of Puja Casa, a high-end residential complex owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani’s children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Reports indicate that Shah Rukh’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, has signed a leave and license agreement for the space, selected for its security and staff accommodations. The monthly rent for the property is reportedly Rs 24 lakh.
