Indian electric mobility company Greencell Mobility, backed by PE firm Eversource Capital, has appointed Manish Poddar as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He succeeds Vivek Sahni, who served as the company CFO for four years until December 2024, according to Sahni’s LinkedIn profile.
In his new role, Poddar will oversee financial strategy, including fundraising, governance, compliance, treasury, and investor relations.
A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he brings over 24 years of experience, having held key positions at Diversey and Ranbaxy (Sun Pharma). He has also worked with portfolio companies of Bain Capital, DBAG, and Chrys Capital.
Before joining Greencell, Poddar was the CFO at GMM Pfaudler Ltd.
Greencell Mobility recently launched its fully electric intercity mobility brand, NueGo, in December 2024, aiming to become India’s largest intercity travel network, with operations spanning over 100 cities.
